R.A.M Test 3D Model

Here are some shots of a test model of RAM I did to see if the Toon Shader effects will work. I think it turned out quite well. Now he just needs to be re-modelled and full rigged with blend shapes. I best get someone else to do that.

First Animatic

Here is the first copy of the animatic with the scratch voice track. Looking at it, I feel that
a) we should pan out to reveal the studio
b) we should cut away to reveal the product
c) the tooth should be shown more under pressure of scaler to build tension and
d) the tooth should be shown at the end to intensify the moment when the tooth is removed.

Animatic Version 2 Coming Up.

Foster's Visual Research

Here are some examples from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends. I really like the viusal style and character design in this show. This is hopefully what it will look like at the end.

Model Sheets

Here are the model sheets for each of the characters. They are to be used as reference for either drawing, compositing or modelling the character.

R.A.M

I was thinking of doing R.A.M in 3D Computer animation with toon effects on him to allow him to blend in with the other characters. It should create the effect that he exists of the same world but is not made of the same material as the other characters are, the other characters being organic and him being plastic. This was used in films such as Osmosis Jones and The Iron Giant.
